I have been an Iranian visual artist for over a decade, beginning my journey with classical Realism before evolving into a unique blend of surreal and conceptual art. My work has always explored themes of society, culture, religion, and particularly the experiences of women, subjects that have often placed me at odds with the strict limitations and censorship in my homeland. As a female painter, I faced significant barriers in creating art and organizing exhibitions, which ultimately compelled me to leave Iran in search of creative freedom. After overcoming many hardships during my migration as a woman—first to Austria and then to Germany—I am now based in Berlin. Here, I am dedicated to continuing my artistic legacy and am hopeful that I will soon integrate with the vibrant international art community.
